Welcome to the Step By Step Institute website. We are a specialist center for therapeutic and socio-academic intervention, licensed by the Ministry of Health, situated in the Abu Hamour area of Doha, Qatar. SBSI caters to children and young people with a wide range of abilities and differences. It is an exciting privilege for me to witness the opportunities for children to learn, become confident, and grow into young adults who are equipped to be independent and productive members of society, preparing children today for the world tomorrow.

We celebrate differences in numerous ways because we believe that every child is unique, and success for every child will be different. Our team of specialist staff is licensed, skilled, experienced, hardworking, dedicated, and committed to ensuring each child excels and reaches their full potential. We want our children to be happy, safe, and to access the innovative, evidence-based, child-centered, multisensory, multi-therapeutic programs we offer. We pride ourselves on the facilities that include a fully equipped, state-of-the-art sensory room, a multi-interactive, sensory-modulated learning environment, calming and fully equipped therapy rooms, and a fully grassed and covered outdoor play area, etc.

We strive to extend learning and inclusion opportunities outside the center in sports, arts, and socio-cultural experiences such as visits to museums, libraries, parks, etc. We believe that effective communication between families and our specialist staff is a critical component for fostering successful outcomes. We work very closely with parents and carers and always aim to provide a happy and stimulating environment. Parents are welcome to come and discuss issues. You know your child best, and we know that working together is the best way forward. We also hold regular parent meetings, which are informal sessions.
